Courgette flower lunch


Coustellet market, stalls groaning with fresh fruit and vegetables and at last, that favourite summer treat, courgette flowers. Lightly fried tempura style in a beer batter and accompanied with nothing more than a fresh baguette - fantastic!

  2. Well I'll answer my own question;

    1 egg - whisk
    2 spoonfuls of floor - whisk in
    50ml of brown beer or whatever's to hand - whisk in so it's just so.
    Deep fry recoating the courgettes as you go.
    Serve with not less than 50cl of very cold Luberon finest white wine per person
