Art in the Park

Art in the Parc Jourdan in Aix en Provence. The 8th Sm'Art contemporary art show is always a delight with some excellent quality exhibitors and artworks including the lovely 'Fiona', a monumental sculpture as tall as a willowy tree.

Jardin Remarquable

Indeed a 'remarkable' garden. The Jardin de la Louve in Bonnieux is currently open for visitors to enjoy the superb planting on the terraces overlooking the Luberon hills in the perched village of Bonnieux.

Dramatic developments in Marseille

Marseille City of Culture 2013 is seeing some dramatic new buildings on the skyline. Here the Villa Mediterranée with the Cathedral de la Major framed in the background.
